About the role
As the Global Data Owner, Source-to-Pay, you will coordinate the data management and governance processes within the Source-to-Pay function. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the data architecture and nomenclature to support business processes and decision-making. This is an ambitious opportunity to contribute to a global organization and lead all aspects of our data governance.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for all business process transactions, reporting, and analytics.
- Monitor and manage data quality, identifying and resolving data issues.
- Ensure that all data-related processes align with internal policies and external regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
- Collaborate with Source-to-Pay, Procurement, Finance, and Business Unit leadership to define reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain the data architecture for the Source-to-Pay function.
- Define and manage the data nomenclature, ensuring consistency and clarity across all data elements.
- Provide training and support to data users to ensure adherence to data governance policies.
- Find opportunities for process improvements and make changes to improve data management practices.
About you
You are a leader with a strong background in data management, governance, and compliance within a global organization. Your outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple tasks. You are ambitious and driven to successfully implement world-class data management practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management, governance, and compliance within a global organization.
- Strong understanding of Procurement data architecture and nomenclature principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams and prioritising multiple tasks.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay processes and systems.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
