Job Summary:

Organizes, manages, coordinates, and facilitates the plant’s Master Data organization, preparation, and entry of data in the SAP system for all production materials, spare parts, and operating suppliesThis includes data both internal to the plant and coordination with other sites.

Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates external requirements for plant’s Master Data including coordinating with other sites, enterprise data and design revisions.

  • Coordinates and facilitates all plant master data planning and data entry for all production materials, spare parts, and operating supplies to ensure accuracy and timely turnaround in all of the plant master data files.

  • Acts as Object Specialist in determining master data – related objects to be attached to Engineering Change Requests/ Orders (ECR/O).

  • If an Assessment of Change Requirements (ACR) is required, willrepresent Plant Master Data for completion of ECR/O Strategy documentThis document details all ECR/Os to be created and the objects and change descriptions needed for each ECR/O to complete the project.

  • Responsible for internal policies and procedures for master data system to ensure proper approvals and documentation.

  • Provides for system audits and data validation systems.

  • Coordinates and ensures proper training of all master data owners and backup personnel.

  • Coordinates the phase out of old materials and startup of new materials within the plant to minimize usage of wrong materials.

  • Reviews and recommends revisions to plant master data system that would result in process improvements and timelier turnaround.

  • Expected to be the plant representative on all master data issues or design teams. 

  • Responsible to ensure that the master data system meets all regulatory requirements.

  • Responsible for transactional entry of all requests for user system access for on-boarding, off-boarding and transfer of BD and contingent workers at the site.

  • Acts as Super-User for all CUP Requests to grant/remove Work Process Roles for SAP access.

  • Responsible for maintaining associate’s set-up and role assignments in Apriso FlexNet and their affiliation to Distribution Groups in Outlook.

  • Coordinates master data activities of numerous other plant personnel.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Complies with, and responsible for enforcing, all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies/procedures.

  • Complies with all local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principlesEnsures compliance through appropriate communication, training, and education of sound Quality Assurance principlesResponsible for the activities and programs as defined for this position in the Quality Systems Manual - Broken Bow.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Observes all safety, environmental and quality system standards.

Supervision

This position reports directly to theMaterial Planning/Parts Crib Facilitator.

  • This position has no direct reports. 

Education and Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent study is preferred.

Experience

  • Three to five years of plant manufacturing experience required.

  • Must have a strong manufacturing process knowledge and a strong business knowledge.

  • Must have strong SAP system skills and organizational skills.

  • Must have strong, effective communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively work with personnel at various levels.

Equipment Use:

  • Ability to manually operate a computer with a standard keyboard.

  • The position is subject to inside environmental conditions typically associated with an office environment.
