As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

Ready to lead and make an impact? As a key player reporting to the Country Business Leader MDS Benelux, you'll be the go-to advisor, driving growth in Belgium and Luxembourg with innovative business strategies. Your leadership will be essential in syncing local efforts with regional and global goals.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cutting-edge commercialization strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with the European and BeLux strategy.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute annual business plans that surpass regional targets, focusing on key growth drivers and market opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous skill development.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, customers, KOLs, trade associations, and new market professionals to understand local needs and enhance the customer experience.
  • Business Development: Identify and seize new business opportunities to drive sustained sales growth in the region.
  • Operational Excellence:Ensure precise forecasting, timely reporting, and represent MDS in BD-wide business meetings and management platforms
  • Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Inside Sales Set-Up: Establish and manage an inside sales team to support outbound sales efforts and boost customer engagement.
  • Commercial Excellence: bring our commercial operations to the next level by integrating cutting-edge commercial tools, processes and best practices and drive optimal change management with your team
  • BHC Development: Partner with the Business Development Manager to craft and execute a comprehensive Beyond Hospital Care strategy, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
  • P&L Management: Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement for the region, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are optimally utilized.

About you

  • Proven experience in the medical industry, particularly in solution selling.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire teams in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in tender management within the healthcare sector.
  • Passionate about motivating a team with varied strengths and unlocking their potential.
  • A problem solver with sharp analytical skills and a business-savvy approach.
  • Skilled in crafting and delivering innovative solutions in the healthcare sector.
  • A proven track record in cross-functional collaboration and solution selling.
  • Visionary with a big-picture mindset and ambition for the future of healthcare.
  • Proficient in Dutch/ French and English
