Lead the implementation and coordination of the Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) for the Specimen Management Business Unit (BU). Partner with the Executive Process Champions and Process leaders to ensure the reviews are effective and that materials are on time and satisfactory to provide an updated outlook and make the necessary decisions. Provide holistic and unbiased counsel to the Specimen Management BU President across the end-to-end business value chain.The Specimen Management Integrated Business Planning Process Leader monitors the quality of the output of the IBP various meetings and ensures that issues and imbalances which are identified during the monthly IBP cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved, or escalated with recommendations and alternatives for closure.
The Integrated Business Planning Process Leader is directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the BU’s Integrated Business Planning process and for its continuous improvement (tools and process).

Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of IBP for the Specimen Management BU (both globally and where relevant also in the regions).
Help drive organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process.
Orchestrate the ongoing IBP process across all steps.
Partner with Finance to ensure clarity of financials to support decision making.
Support reoccurring assessment and ongoing IBP process improvement.
As part of the IBP process be responsible for Global Specimen Management Inventory
Lead, develop, maintain, and improve inventory optimization processes and procedures to achieve customer service and working capital goals for the global Specimen Management business unit.
Lead Inventory Projection Process and Inventory Budget Process working collaboratively with Regions, Plants, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver an inventory projection and inventory budget.
Drive Monthly E&O Reserve Process working with Cross Functional Partners to mitigate E&O and provide inventory disposition.
Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations required; Masters or MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years Supply Chain and/or Operations experience required.
Minimum of 3 years people management is required.
Previous integrated business planning (IBP) and inventory optimization experience required.
Previous demand planning, forecasting, and sales planning experience required.
Previous experience with ERP/APS systems required.
APICS certification or equivalent preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Must have strong analytical, project management, problem solving, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence, work effectively, and implement solutions in a cross-functional, team environment.
Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, change management, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Experience with Lean Concepts and Six Sigma tools preferred.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
30% Travel is required.

Scope and Impact of Position
The person responsible for this position has significant impact on the success of Specimen Management’s overall sales plan, maximum customer satisfaction, and financial profitability.
Support profitably meeting the Specimen Management annual business plan, both top line revenue and bottom line income.
Manage the optimization of global Specimen Management inventory, ~$240mm.
Drive inventory optimization processes and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring personal & company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, & procedures for Health, Safety, & Environmental compliance.
Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines and policies.
Employee Hire and Termination Authority - Employee hiring requires second level approval. Employee terminations require Human Resources concurrence and sign-off.
