US Region Demand Planner

Process owner Demand Planning Business with active participation with Sales and Marketing Teams in customer opportunity assessment.

Planner Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the monthly demand review process with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care and Global Supply Planning teams to understand, quantify and drive business growth opportunities.

  • Achieve best-in-class Forecast Accuracy, Bias, etc. and provide support in meeting goals across all other key Supply Chain Metrics (Inventory, OTIF, etc.)

  • Actively contribute to support development and implementation of the Global MDS Business Strategy in the Demand Planning functional area.

  • Develop and maintain advanced modeling and data analytics to optimize forecast.

  • Facilitate the US Region Integrated Reconciliation process for assigned Platform and ensure timely collation of the appropriate information required for the forums.

  • Contribute to the implementation of customer driven demand and the agile demand planning process.

  • Coordinate activities to create a 3–5-year (long-term) Demand plan for US Region.

  • Establish work processes for continuous improvement in the Regional Demand Planning area using Six Sigma and Best Practice benchmarking methodology.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years Demand and Planning experience with a demonstrated knowledge of broader Supply Chain concepts and Best Practices; experience with customer-level demand management (CPFR, VMI) a plus.

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Quantitative Analysis, Data Science, Operations Management or related degree

  • Experience with SAP and SAP APO-DP strongly preferred; familiarity with advanced-forecasting and artificial intelligence (AI) forecasting methods a plus

  • Ability to work with different stakeholders to gain consensus applying leadership and persuasive skills

  • Excellent written and oral skills, strong process facilitation skills and “self-starter” mentality are crucial for success in this role.
