Digital Delivery Manager

Digital Delivery Manager, as part of the Platform Solutions & Services team, will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Aveva projects or products, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and quality requirements. They guide teams to complete projects on time, foster a collaborative environment, and drive project success while aligning with organizational objectives. The delivery lead is expected to facilitate a Scrum team understand and apply the Scrum framework to deliver value effectively and efficiently. They are responsible for coaching the team, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative and self-organized environment.

  • Managing the delivery of Aveva based product enhancement & implementation projects using appropriate frameworks.
  • Leading team meetings (like Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective), ensuring they are productive and within the timebox.
  • Monitoring project metrics, providing feedback, and helping the team identify areas for improvement.
  • Working with the Product Owner, Functional Analyst & other stakeholders to ensure the Product Backlog is clear, concise, and prioritized effectively.
  • Proactively communicating delivery targets, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating infrastructure request follow-ups to eliminate the team's resource dependencies.
  • Overseeing Aveva licenses on the vendor portal and liaising with the vendor representative.
  • Efficiently allocating and overseeing resources to ensure optimal productivity and support the team's objectives.
  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the software product release process with help of Azure DevOps to ensure timely delivery and alignment with quality standards.
  • Identifying and removing impediments that hinder the team's progress, working with other stakeholders as needed.
  • Guiding the team in understanding and applying Scrum principles and practices, including self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement.
  • Acting as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders, such as customers, management, and other teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in successful delivery of complex software projects end to end.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience managing projects preferably for Healthcare / Medical devices customers.
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to influence others across various levels in the organization, work independently, and manage through ambiguity.
  • Ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Experience collaborating with SI delivery partners.
  • Experience managing SDLC deliverables in a GxP setting.
  • Ability to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
  • A good understanding of the technical aspects of the projects they are leading.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other digital manufacturing solutions
  • Experience working in a large matrixed and FDA regulated corporation
  • Domain experience in the Life Sciences Industry
  • Familiarity with JIRA and other prioritization tools
