Job Description Summary

The ANZ Dispensing Product Manager will drive localization of BD marketing initiatives and downstream execution for currently available and next generation products.  Marketing includes developing and executing plans, strategic positioning and messaging, KOL management as well as marketing and sales collateral.

The Product Manager will have significant interaction with the ANZ MMS Sales organization, as well a cross departmentally within BD ANZ and must work collaboratively to create action plans and ensure that customer targeting and marketing programs are well executed and impactful.

The Product Manager will also create co-marketing plans with key external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute annual marketing plan for automated dispensing solutions, as well as 3-year strategic plan;

  • Marketing campaigns to maximise awareness, enhance differentiation and support strategic lead generation;

  • Organize local events and exhibitions, as well as building awareness through education and training workshops;

  • Prepare marketing materials, value dossiers and sales tools;

  • Build network of key professionals, stakeholders and other organisations to ensure constant awareness;

  • Collect customer insights, testimonials, Case studies and competitive intelligence;

  • Follow and analyze market and trends, and prepare market analysis reports as needed;

  • Collaborate with QA, RA, finance, supply chain and other BD stakeholders to ensure commercial and operational excellence;

  • Ensure that the ANZ organization follows BD branding guidelines;

  • Flexibility to transition or manage other MMS business portfolios which may or may not be dispensing related.

  • Ensure market awareness and continue building of the BD automated dispensing solutions, along with other software analytics solutions;

  • Identify and select market segments to pursue, with seamless execution on marketing activities and campaigns to realise business outcomes. Continue refine strategies based on monitoring and responding to performance metrics;

  • Knowledge of BD solutions and ANZ Hospital processes and systems;

  • Ability to plan and coordinate efforts with the sales and marketing team in ANZ to realise year on year revenue budget;

  • Comprehensive market research and launch plans for new technologies;

  • Accuracy with forecasting, as well as timely completion of financial projections.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with medical capital equipment or pharmacy automation solutions ( preferred);

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or Sales;

  • Sales or marketing experience within the hospital or  healthcare industry;

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required;

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of portfolio strategies;

  • Ability to research, analyse, interpret and maximise the use of market intelligence;

  • Demonstrates high levels of computer skills particularly spreadsheets, graphics, presentations databases and word processing;

  • Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative solutions;

  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills;

  • Demonstrated ability in numerical analysis;

  • Experience working in a matrix environment

The position requires approximately 15% domestic travel.
