The Contract Administrator, Customer Operations12-month contract role will support the management of the BDI Contract Sales and Pricing team (subject to change). Tasks include, but are not limited to, pricing inquiries, membership additions and/or expiry, item additions and/or expiry, price changes, contract extensions, renewals or contract creation to ensure maximum efficiency with minimal billback and order claim processing errors. This role requires strong attention to detail and an ability to shift focus to assist in prioritised tasks as required.
Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
- Ensure all contract product additions and membership maintenance changes are actioned in a timely manner and done in accordance with agreement terms and conditions.
- Ensure contract renewals and creations are completed with accuracy and abides by time obligations to send required notices
- Action as required for product discontinuations and activations.
- Support Contract Specialists and liaise with Customer Service directly to address any contract or pricing related inquiries to ensure a high level of customer service and minimize order management pricing discrepancies.
- Support billback claim processing by immediately addressing contract errors to ensure claims are processed in a timely and complete manner to produce accurate sales reporting.
- Support Level 1 SLA for day of resolution turnaround time including: contract membership additions, product additions for Customer Service order management issues.
Education and Experience:
- College Diploma, in a business-related field. Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
- 2+ years’ experience with contract execution. Good understanding of contract management, billbacks, and customer support a strong asset
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (word, outlook), including strong proficiency working with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP function, slicers, etc.).
- Power BI experience an asset.
- Fluency in English required (read, write, speak). Fluency in French a strong asset.
- Proficient with ERP such as JDE, i5 experience an asset.

- Strong teammate and collaborator with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong discernment and passion towards excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- Excellent organizational and passion for process management and continuous improvement.
- Strong documentation skills including attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills.

- Quick learner and strives for self-improvement.
- Flexibility and ability to balance competing priorities, projects and able to work within tight timelines under pressure.
