Main responsibilities will include:
Set up and operate high-speed packaging lines, ensuring good product quality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or processes, taking appropriate action to minimise downtime.
Monitor product quality and adjust as needed to meet required standards.
Ensure all machinery is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
Collaborate with other operators and technicians to optimise line performance and address any challenges encountered.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment for everyone on the shop floor.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency or reduce waste.
Comply with all relevant regulations and procedures related to food safety and hygiene.
Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to overall operational success.
About you:
Previous experience operating high-speed packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.
Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for packaging equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Excellent communication skills to share information and coordinate activities with colleagues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a safe work culture.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and ability to use relevant software.
