The Business Analyst is responsible for the management and analysis of data and information relating to the business performance of the relevant divisions and competitors, carrying out business intelligence analyses, making forecasts relating to the medium-long term trend of our product portfolio and identifying and monitoring KPI's (key performance indicators), relating to the efficiency of our commercial network in strategic support of the business and management decision making activities.This role reports to the Business Director and provides equally distributed support to the marketing and sales team.
Job Description
As Business Analyst Iberia you willcollect, process and analyze data regarding the performance of the Business at an overall level, by account and by product lines, by product mix, by channel (dealer or direct) using both internal data (EIS, AS400, qlink) and from external sources (Ministry of Health, CERGAS, ISTAT, IMS); specifically, this reporting will highlight the trend in turnover, profit, average prices, category share, comparison with budget objectives, etc.; in addition to managing ordinary reporting, you will have to create new reports based on the needs of the business or propose new ones with a consultative and proactive approach.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Carry out business intelligence analysis, to support forecasting and strategic marketing planning activities.
- Support the Product Manager in carrying out market research (definition of the investigation objective, brief to the Market Research company, analysis of the results).
- Review and insertion of the Forecast through dedicated tools.
- Communicate with local regulators and headquarters/production sites to find the documentation relating to the registration of a new device or updating/maintenance of the documentation relating to products already on the market at the Ministry of Health.
- Update the prices on the Unit's price lists, based on the indications received from the Sales Manager and the Marketing Manager.
- Sales Funnel template aggregation for HQ relating to the sales projects activated in the individual areas (useful for the forecast) and monthly monitoring of progress.
- SFDC database management. Creation of a database with all Dealer purchasing plans relating to our products (useful for forecasting).
- Preparation and implementation of Business Cases and Action Plans relating to B2B and private customers, following indication and authorization by the Sales Manager or Area Sales Manager.
- Manage and verify the data entered (code, prices) by the Sales Force in the TMS (tender management system), working in close contact with the Tender Office, the Sales Force and the Sales Manager.
- Prepare and send presentations and reports relating to sales statistics, business reviews, business updates and strategic plans.
About you
- Degree or equivalent experience in Management Engineering, Economics, Statistics.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
- Good knowledge of Excel, CRM (Salesforce).
- Professional English level (both written and oral).
- Excellent analytical skills.
