Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director, Commercial Fee Programs, this position will improve operational effectiveness by leading continuous improvement initiatives across the Commercial Fee Program teams. This position will support the Offer Development process for Enterprise deals across multiple US Business Segments and provide ongoing support of the US Region Contract and Pricing Council. This role will support US Region policies, processes, and governance to ensure the effective implementation of complex, critical contract activities which manage business opportunities and risk appropriately. This position will support ad-hoc analytics reporting for BU, Management and Commercial Integration as required. This is an individual contributor role that will work closely with Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Integration, Business, Sales Leaders, and other Commercial Operations functional and Cross-functional Business Partners and will serve as a catalyst to drive best in class contract operations and analytics.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with our key business stakeholders to recommend and lead ongoing business process continuous improvement and simplification activities.

  • Collaborate with IT and supporting teams to lead an IT roadmap designed to continuously drive operational efficiencies and optimization of automated processes and tools. Ensure technology platform functionality, performance and adoption appropriately support operational activities.

  • Document and resolve gaps in the Commercial Fee team and work with stakeholders to identify potential risks and provide acceptable solutions.

  • Coordinate operations with the Contract Offer Development and Business Commercial Integration teams to lead an effective intake process to deliver on contract operations efficiently.

  • Lead governance process around contract operations to ensure standardization and efficient contracting policies and procedures with appropriate flexibility to meet business/market needs and dynamics.

  • Identify and understand key areas of change management with the ability to recognize and communicate the impact of change to adopt process initiatives and reinforce the need for change for long term sustainability.

  • Responsible to calculate baselines by accurate evaluation and interpretation of contracts and deliver timely per the terms and conditions of the contracts.

  • Create a consolidated contract tracking tool for Commercial Fee contracts and maintain system logs for contracts, fee, and rebate processing for review by fellow analyst and management.

  • Prepare annual financial budget, quarterly financial projections and accruals for fees and incentive programs to ensure appropriate reserves are reflected on financial statements.

  • Keep all training material and desktop procedures related to automated tools/applications/audits updated.

  • Lead SOX audits by conducting insightful analysis and intuitive responses in a timely manner while mitigating financial risk.

  • Provide Ad-hoc reporting to key business partners and sales team.

  • Monitor metrics, KPI’s (key performance indicators) and SLA’s (service level agreements) to hold the team accountable for achieving the key strategic goals of the organization.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required in Finance, Accounting or other business-related fields

  • 3 years of experience in commercial contracting, fee/incentive payment, or related data analysis and financial activities

  • Advanced working knowledge in Excel, Database (i.e. Access, SQL, Oracle) & Data Mining tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and/or SAP BI/BW in the context of Reporting

  • Highly analytical problem solver with proven business insight

  • Ability to engage with key business partners to evaluate key drivers and analytics to assist in development of clear strategic recommendations and anticipate business needs

  • Ability to convey complex concepts and solutions in a clear, understandable way
