Job Description Summary
The role involves processing incoming RGA (Good/Unused) part returns and ensuring the quality of those returns. It requires regular reporting on financial movements regarding RGA returns and scrapping of returned spare parts. Additionally, it involves investigating questionable RGA and Quality Return Mandatory RMA parts that are set aside by the Decon team for investigation. Managing the Quality Return Mandatory RMA part report and ensuring compliance is also part of the responsibilities. Following up with FSEs and the Decon team for un-shipped or un-received Quality Return Mandatory RMAs is necessary. Monthly reporting on key back orders and back order reasons is required. Coordinating with the Distribution Center to ensure the supply of necessary labels for Spare Part Shipments and maintaining good working relationships with DC associates is crucial. Furthermore, the role involves managing the IDS Single Swap process, ensuring customer satisfaction, returning defective units, coordinating with any LTL shippers as required, and coordinating and cooperating with the Repair Center.Job Description

Summary of Position:
The Service Logistics Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of service logistics in support of the technical services organization, including but not limited to receiving, packaging, and shipping of equipment and spare parts, leading spare part orders, communicating with Field Service Engineers, their managers, and customers regarding their requests, and working with other departments to ensure accurate data in our systems. The role will also provide the field service team administrative support as needed (e.g., scheduling, dispatch, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Parts Order Administration
Process Parts orders and Follow-up with Field Service Engineers (FSE), their managers, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Service Planners as needed. Enter the backorders in the Parts Escalation Team Site and follow up for in field parts transfer requests.
Locate and transfer parts between plants and other storage locations.
Dispatch FSEs to the customers as needed
Process incoming RGAs (Good /Unused parts)
Perform required SAP Transactions to move parts among various storage locations.
Receive, Package, Palletize, and send parts to the Distribution Center and /or FSL (Forward Stocking Location) and follow up if any issues.
Follow up with FSEs and the Decontamination Team to track incoming shipments and parts. Investigate and reconcile inventory as needed
Arrange Supplies, Print FedEx Shipping Labels, and distribute to FSEs for RGA and RMA (along with colored Red /Green Tags) returns,
Diagnostics Single Swap process
Complete and process parts orders for the Single Swap instrument /accessory /option
Communicate with BD customers, Phone Support Engineers, Shippers (e.g., Team Worldwide or FedEx Freight), Repair Center, and other team members as needed.
Additional
Support business objectives; deliver high level of service & performance.
Coordinate with Planning, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure stock availability, credit release, etc.
Communicates with FSEs, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions. Performs tasks related to pre-sales service, order fulfillment and post-sales service.
Complete SAP reports, perform analysis, and suggest opportunities to improve. Update records and prepare reports as needed.
Complete required trainings. Follow safety and quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a customer service/administrative role
Willing to stand and walk much of the time in warehouse setting while having the ability to lift /pick /place packages up to 50lbs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with basic computer skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Experience using ERP software (i.e., Oracle, SAP)
Familiarity with medical device industry regulations and compliance requirements
