RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive measurement of implemented standards, guidelines, metrics and best practices for the development and deployment of commercial enabling solutions.
Ownership of DS quote calculators aligned with management approval matrix to maximize profitability and subsequent ensure adherence to contract compliance process
Work cross functionally with sales, marketing, service, applications, and contracts teams to drive more consistent outcomes
Regularly review terms and conditions to minimize exposure and maximize revenue and profit
Ownership of key performance indicators that includes developing and implementing countermeasure and sustainment initiatives to deliver of business imperatives
Lead and champion the creation of metrics and create a clear and single source of analytics tools/reports to inform decision-making and strategy across DS
Build relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Business Solutions, Clinical Solutions, Service, BDX US Region, WW IDS BU) that lead to the highest levels of collaboration, effectiveness, and insight.
Support data and analytics for M&A activity
Understands emerging healthcare industry trends, assess their potential impact on commercial operations strategies, presents to executive leadership on plan to address and implements approved and aligned strategy.
Assesses the current processes between marketing operations and finance analytics to make a recommendation on roles and responsibilities across functions in alignment with the commercial integration strategy.
Initially this role is an individual contributor but expected to drive simplification and standardization cross functionally across DS
Promote improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices
Lead/support other critical initiatives as defined by the Sr. Director, IDS Commercial Integration
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/BA in Business, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline. MBA desirable.
A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant sales enablement and effectiveness in medical device and/or other healthcare is required.
Preferred contracting and offer development experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong data and automation technical skills(relational data, SQL, VBA, Python, etc.)
Strong business acumen
Track record of achievement in delivering multiple projects and influencing business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial strategies, and convert these into tactical marketing plans, delivering results.
Ability to operate under ambiguity and flex based on business needs
