Job Description Summary

The Clinical and Sales Specialist manages the main SM sales projects in Poland, emphasizing BD's position as a partner for the healthcare system. This role coordinates sales activities and directly engages with customers in consultation with the National Sales Manager and the Application and Sales Supervisor IDS PL. The Clinical and Sales Specialist possesses comprehensive knowledge of clients, including their needs, challenges, strategies, and projects. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top management in the client's organizational structure and identifying and developing sales projects that align with the client's strategic needs.
Clinical and Sales Specialist directly influences the sales activities of customer managers and the customer's purchasing process. The role provides direction and support to customers on the operation and knowledge of SM products, demonstrating product advantages during implementation. This helps increase the knowledge and awareness needed for decision-making or procedural changes in hospitals, based on substantive information about the product or solution.

About the role

The Clinical and Sales Specialist position is open across the country.

Clinical and Sales Specialist handles the main sales projects in Poland, emphasizing BD's position as a partner for the healthcare system. This role coordinates sales activities and provides support to customers on the operation and knowledge of SM products, demonstrating product advantages during implementation.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Support the sales process by gathering customer information about technical trends/ needs to support development of selling strategies and future products.

  • Coordinates of product trainings for specific target group, conducts products demonstrations and validations with prospective customers

  • Prepares and presents seminars to customers, potential customers and BD employees as requested.

  • Performs on-site demo and clinical trainings for customers

  • Builds and consolidates relationships with relevant regional and national customers, decision-makers and opinion leaders.

  • Attends relevant industry trade shows, conferences and meetings as required.

  • Handles of product complaints, process in the relevant systems and communication with the customers

  • Collects and processes market information (trends, competition behavior, products, services, etc.), as well as introducing ideas for central concept development.

  • Supports the implementation of product portfolio strategies including pricing, positioning, and product promotion.

About you

Education

  • Degree holder in Science/Microbiology/Biology/Biotechnology/Laboratory Medicine/ Pharmacy/Nursing 

Experience

  • Nice to have 1-3 years track record in the diagnostic industry on application and/or sales related position, with proven success

  • Strong technical and significant laboratory and/or scientific background, preferably in microbiology and/or nursing

  • Knowledge of laboratory processes and techniques in specimen management is a plus 

  • Technical, laboratory and/or scientific experience is a plus 

  • Good orientation on the medical devices market and its opinion-forming environment is a plus

  • Knowledge of information systems and IT architecture and development of custom interfaces with LIS will be added advantage.
