A new and exciting opportunity for a regional position within BD interventional has arisen as a Sales and Clinical  Specialist for Central Eastern Europe & Israel.   Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Central Eastern Europe & Israel. Our Peripheral Intervention business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Increasing sales revenue and market share in the assigned territory for BD Interventional Surgery Business Unit for our solutions in the fields of Hernia repair, Biosurgery and Infection Prevention

  • Developing a high level of understanding of the Hernia repair, Biosurgery and Infection Prevention products and markets

  • Providing field and clinical support to the end user customers (surgeons), distributor partners and their respective sales teams

  • Develop and implement a business plan to grow sales and market penetration in the region

  • Identify effective distribution channels and opportunities to maximize revenues through new and existing customers

  • Maintain an exceptional level of knowledge of assigned product portfolio and conduct regular product and clinical training to distributor’s sales force and end-user customers

  • Work closely with in country distributors to ensure all new and focus products and solutions are being developed and capturing market share, in line with the company’s annual business plan

  • Provide in the filed clinical support to end-user customers (surgeons) in the Operating Room to drive product usage and adoption. Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs)

  • Work closely with EU marketing teams to provide ongoing and training review and updates for the Distributor’s sales force. Participate in new product launches in the region in close contact and coordination with Marketing teams

  • Plan, organize and conduct regional professional education workshops and programs

  • Work with distributors to collect, analyse and deliver information on market trends and dynamics, reimbursement, current clinical practice, competition, pricing

  • Ensure all BDI available resources (marketing, clinical, educational, technical) are used effectively

About you

The candidate should have previous sales, clinical and marketing experience in the Medical Device industry is a prerequisite, and particularly in the Surgical/Hernia/Biosurgery field would be highly appreciated. This person should be a university graduate and a sales professional with a clinical background and fluent English language. We would expect this person to be able to travel more than 40% of the time.
