The Sr. Manufacturing Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in compliance with statutory and accepted accounting standards and principles. This role is on site in Zelienople, PA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting, financial, and fiscal policies and controls. Involves preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Duties include maintaining accounting and financial records and reports including, general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

  • Responsible for conducting financial and economic analyses, developing and preparing the organization's financial plans and budgets, interpreting financial reports and tax returns, and maintaining good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.

  • Supports an efficient and optimized supply chain through sourcing and procurement analyses.

  • Conducts financial analyses. Develops and prepares the organization's financial plans and budgets, interprets financial reports and tax returns, and maintains good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.

  • Responsible for preparing financial reports based on the cost of producing BD's products and services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for CTW analysis for Inventory and costing review and roll for new products.

  • Assist with semi‐annual Physical Inventory.

  • Participate in annual budget and monthly forecasting process.

  • Provide support to analyze manufacturing variances; PPV, Usage, Labor, and Absorption.

  • Complete month-end close activities – including preparing and posting JEs.

  • Provide support to evaluate impact of product line transfers and other CIPs.

  • Prepare balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation to the General Ledger.

  • Assist in preparing year‐end corporate reporting requirements and fixed asset reporting and analysis.

  • Participate in Project Teams as assigned and ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and Sarbanes‐Oxley requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience and experience handling month-end activities
