This associate will be a part of the U.S. Commercial Excellence wing of the within the Medication Management Solutions U.S. Region Marketing organization. Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Marketing Communications & Business Development, the Manager of Business Development & Demand Generation will monitor sales metrics and lead business development representatives through activities to achieve and exceed the overall sales team goals. They will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential to have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. The ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve specific goals is essential to success.Candidates must be available to work onsite 4 days per week in our BD Raleigh/Durham, NC office.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the business development representive team:
By setting and tracking sales targets for your team
Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
Report to leadership on sales metrics and suggest improvements
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Use prospect and customer feedback to generate ideas to improve activity in the sales pipeline.
Research and discover methods to increase prospect/customer engagement.
Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
Build an open-communication environment for your team.
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
3-5 years of inside sales or business development experience.
Proven work experience as a leader with the ability to positively influence others
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Work will primarily be in an office setting with limited opportunities to be exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 5 pounds often and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
