The Digital Content Author is primarily a skilled Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Web Author and a critical member of a digital engagement, digital platform, or digital delivery team within a corporate, regional, or business unit digital team. The Digital Content Author will author and optimize digital content provided by the business that may span multiple platforms and technologies. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and experience in a large, matrixed organization. The Digital Content Author reports to a senior-level role on the digital team, such as Product Owner or Digital Marketing Leader.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and publish web content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams as required to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Optimize web pages for SEO and user experience.
Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web content and AEM functionality.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web content management and digital marketing.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of web content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing principles.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Comfortable in a global, fast-paced, always-on, highly matrixed environment with limited resources.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree (major in marketing, communications, web design, fine arts, graphic design, journalism, English preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a web author or content manager
2+ years’ experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
2+ years’ experience with Atlassian products, specifically JIRA Service Management
Ideal candidates will also have experience with one or more of the following platforms:

Bi-lingual candidates will receive priority consideration
Candidate must be on-site at a BD facility 5 days a week. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as tosupport recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, andtalent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. Thesalary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual worklocation. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
$89,800.00 - 148,100.00 USD Annual
