The Calibration Technician, reporting to the Sterility Assurance and Quality Systems Leader shall conduct all BD Plymouth Calibration activities. Provide support to and perform Quality Assurance related activities and tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements.
• Ensure all BD Plymouth Calibration related activities are performed so as to meet or exceed the requirements of the relevant standard.
• Calibrates and tests electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instruments used in production, laboratories, and other areas as per approved plant policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of and maintain operating and test procedures in support of all calibration activities based on the relevant published guidelines and standards.
• Maintenance of electronic calibration system to ensure up to date calibration records can be retrieved when required.
• Support in on site audits to respond to calibration audit queries and provide required records.
• Assist in liaising with external vendors and coordinate contract renewals/Raise requisitions/blanket orders.

Qualifications:

• Electrical certification - City and Guilds or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a working/manufacturing environment, using equipments, setting up tests.
• Strong PC knowledge/capability. Use of MS office applications
• Fluent English skills.
